Our vision

“Make disciples who will make disciples.”

MPA's vision statement is based on the great commission which Jesus Christ gave to his disciples in Matthew 28:19-20.

According to our vision statement, we focus on three areas as a church.

Service to God

Worship

We believe that worship is an important part of the life of a Christian. At MPA we focus on the kind of worship about which Jesus spoke in John 4:24, worship in truth and spirit. But we do not stop there. Worship is not only the time when you sing songs during a church service. We encourage people to lead a life of worship to God, a continuous service to our God.

Sacrifice was an important part of Old Testament times. As Paul says in Romans 12:1-2, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Service to Members

Discipleship

At MPA, discipleship is a term you will hear again and again. Our vision statement focuses on it. We believe that the Christian life does not end at the point where you put your faith in Jesus Christ. It is just the start.

"We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ" (Col. 1:28). We focus "to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ" (Eph. 4:12-13).

Service to the World

Evangelism

At MPA, we take the great commission of Jesus Christ seriously and encourage people to be a witness of Jesus Christ. For this purpose we do activities, and encourage people on a regular basis to be involved in activities which are evangelistic in nature.
